PL-71 Acos arm 12" conversion
After the 12" Steve 'Schick' alike I decided to make a 12" conversion to my PL-71 arm.
This uses a SME 3012 geometry arm (296.5mm spindle to pivot) and is adapted to fit the PL-71 arm base, re-wired with pure silver Litz wire. Pics   I've always loved the emotion and direct grip on the music the PL-71 Acos arm had - punches well above it's weight imho. I liked aspects of the SME V12 I had on my deck for a short while and also found my 'Schick alike 12' to be very good. This hybrid is very good too. Fun projects to keep you busy... Has anyone else grafted a 12" wand on a good existing arm? |
