No mention there or at the museum site as to why the 12 tracks. Wonder why they broke it up into multi tracks? Did they maybe do multiple exposures to fit more content on the same film? Inquiring minds want to know.

I can see why the cost would be prohibitive. They needed to invent 8mm film just for that!
