Silver Wire Global Online Supplies - Product Line AG5484

This is the real thing whit no price inflated by FIFI shops

---------------------------------------------------------

Nice build coming there.

For anyone in the UK a great supplier of 999 silver ( Emergency Silver !!! they call it ) is :-

RASHBEL of Hatton Wall, London EC1

They have a site if you can't get there...
...and have been most helpfull for me.

They sell silver & gold wire, flat-strip etc. in many different sizes puritys & alloys VERY CHEAP !!!

I bought some 3mm dia wire recently, 999 silver, at pocket-money prices.

Check the FTSE silver prices in the newspaper.
They sell slightly above this price.
Any length, any size, and any combinations thereof.

Anyone who needs precious metals...
...check 'em out & bookmark 'em.

It don't come cheaper as far as I know.

Nice amp design FDW !

Cheers

Si.

I did discus Advent in he past
After 3 years of use and I mean USE capitals on my TT and around the house is still very strong.

Silver Insulated Wire Global Online Supplies - Product Line AG5494
This is the one I have used.

Although maybe this should be in the "Swap" Forum

For 10 a meter at the time probably the best upgrade on my crappy TT.(RPM4)

OFF TOPIC
Got rid of cheap and nasty Pnoplugs on the base (PS if you got cheap phono like project)
It takes about 1/2 hour work) and run balanced.
The 5-meter length is plenty for the Job.

Back on topic I had half an hour to play with balanced power up is ok now and go 15V at RIAA ( say ok now as usual short under nose is always the hardest to find)

Scope at output is a pretty straight line
No time to hock up input.

But so far Noise is really low especially as on the bench near fluorescent light

So far so good
