Hi all.
I'm trying to find an existing replacement for the 2sj170/2sk74-combo. What I'm looking for is exceptionally low noise rimarily. I have found the j170 but not a compementary P-channel for it. Apparenty they're not made anymore. Why should it be so difficult to get started on a new project just because it's impossible to find the right components. They will be used in a microphone pre-amp input on a mixer. It seems that with MP3's in 128kbit being accepted as good audio by the youth today everything has gone down the drain...... So, has anyone found a good complemenatry set? |

there are Vendors/Members on this Forum selling both types of Toshiba jFETs at very attractive prices. eg ~$35/100 k170, ~$50/100 j74
Buy before they run out.
