I stumbled upon the following youtube video.
YouTube - Deep Listening: Why Audio Quality Matters It is a 2 and 1/2 hour long video. I looked for a suitable place to start this thread and thought this to be the ideal one. I request the moderator to feel free to move the thread somewhere or remove it if they do not find it suitable for this forum. My interest is only to learn about the topic by generating a discussion. I liked the video and found it very informative. Regards Roushon

The following people are the main speakers in the discussion.
Steve Berkowitz, Greg Calbi, Evan Cornog, Michael Fremer, Kevin Killen, and Craig Street. It is very good for people, like me, who have not heard the difference between analogue and digital sound before. Although it is an expensive hobby, it is worth going back in time and see what was there. Regards Roushon

The program was great. I heard it through my hopped-up Technics SA-350
with a 10" subwoofer, 2 6&1/2 Woofmids, and 2-1" cloth dome tweeters. The audio demo's were interesting. |
