Hi Gang. I have an all tube Crown 800 full track mono reel to reel with which I plan to do some live blues recording...harp, guitar, stand-up bass, drums and maybe piano. I'd like to purchase a small simple mixer with maybe 4 to 6 low Z mic inputs. I've been checking out fleabay for a vintage tube mixer but the Altecs and Ampexes are very expensive. Can anyone recommend a decent sounding mixer, old or new, that might fit my requirements, and won't cost too much?
Thanks in advance, and great site! |
