I used an old crevice tool from a house vac. Cut a slot on one side and wrap it with heavy velvet material from a fabric store. I used the spray on 3M adhesive to attache the material. Also plug the end with something. Works great and cost a couple bucks.

Jeff (and sled108)
I use a "Shark" vacuum. A POS as a vacuum, but enough for records (it doesn't create too much vacuum). Even works dry and can handle small amounts of liquid without any problems. The VPI brush is nice, and if ya want to something more deLuxe, the way to go. You could use a DD turntable if you like. I guess you could use a JK flipflop to half the speed, as it seems that most RCMs spin around 17 RPM (at least as far as I can figure out).
