Hi,

I just done rewiring my RB250 (NAD533 table) but getting a louder hum, even if the deck off.
Rewiring DIY style, continuous rewire but still using original small PCB as post connection. For separate ground wire I drilled a 1.0mm hole at the back of arm tube and new ground wire gets soldered to brass plug in hole. I think this prefect ground point, is it correct??
Internal wire is 32AWG and external cable 22AWG, cardas clips and gold plated RCA. After checked that everything soldered into place and take multi meter found no leak wire also ground wire attached to preamp, now start play music. But..oh nooo....heard louder huummm from both channels.
Try to detach cart clips and deck power off/power cord connected, switched preamp/amp on and still hear louder hum.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Best regards,
zhaloe
