Sorry to hear about Ivey, I'm a bit confused though - is he your grandad or great grandad? My great grandma died when I was three and she was somewhere north of eighty. Hope he is going to be OK.

Ivey is very lucky to have you. You are lucky to know a great grandfather. All of mine were dead by the time I was born.

I want to bread board this preamp. As soon as I get the tube preamp I am doing finished I will whip Ivey's design up and give it a spin.

i have built but the sound is not 'good,
test the phono preamp "indiscreto" , it's very very good.

I just read all the pages and love this man, Ivey. What a good sole he is. I too like the 2222A, 2907A and would add the 2N2905A to his list. Good GP devices that are quit linear. -Richard Marsh
