Hi All, here are a couple posts from another forum.
This is from four months ago. Hi All, I have all the bits I need to start my new TT project. The marble is 2" thick, the TT is a Rek-O-Kut K33H, and the tonearm is an Infinity Black Widow. The arm is broke off and the new woven carbor fiber tube should be here this week. When done it should come in at around 50 or 60 lbs. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is from the other day. OK, here is an update. I looked at the marble plinth for a couple weeks trying to deside if it needed any more sculpting. It looked a little clunky to me: I thought it should be more swoopy. Well, the other day I put the platter assembly and arm on and stood back and thought "this is it" I think it is the perfect shape from all angles with the platter assembly and arm on. So now it is just a matter of a little finish grinding, polishing, and assembling it. ![]() ![]()
