Pearl MC stage Fet/tube hybrid

Has anyone tried building a Pass Pearl (Aleph Ono) mc stage Fet/tube hybrid? I seem to remember something simular a while ago? Think it was the Toccata that had a Fet/tube input stage (2SK147/5842). I wanted to marry the parallel 2Sk170bl, with a tube (replacing the ZTX450). I've always been a tube guy and have a hard time using just Fets. Don't have the $$$ for a really nice MC transformer. I have a very low output Audioquest MC that needs a MC stage prior to my tube Phono stage.

CineMag 3440's are an excellent value. They work well for solid state or tube. These transformers are sonically superior to my Hag. Piccolo with Denon LOMC's.

I'll look into them. Where can I buy them? I have been using a Altec 15095. While I like them, the load is a little off 150:15K. I did a search and found a Borbley circuit that's close, 2Sk170BL/6DJ8. I have heard that the Russian 6922 is better.
