Yes, they do and they are semi affordable. Also they make them in various length.
We played a 15" version with Goldring 2500.

The narrower the profile the more it suffers with errors in tracking angle.

The really cool thing with the Reed arms is that they allow VTA and SRA adjustment on the fly. I am not a particular fan of very long arms. For me the best compromise is 10.5" or tangential.

The last one I tested had a laser pointer to verify VTA.... wonderfully well built stuff... and as you say... semi affordable.

The hypereliptical information was very interesting and that is what Sao Win used when his Jewel low output MC was designed
Fortunately I had bought 2 of these at the time a long time ago due to its superior sonics
They still are a contender compared my newer Mcs and have not gone south as of yet.
Many here probably never heard of Sao Win and his designs..alas

Regards
David

Am struggling with this 1000 page thread a little!

Have a Paradise R3 GB kit here, and am building my own power supply but cannot find a power consumption figure so choosing the right transformer is difficult.

Would someone please tell me what I need to feed into the regulators in terms of power and voltage?

Hi thommy,

The useful voltage is between 25V and 28V, best if you can get 26,5V. If I remember correctly, each channel will take 140mA, adding 30mA if you use Calvin buffer.

better information you can find in the builders thread (that is not small either); general build documents here and a post with links to most important PSU related questions and findings is here

AS Audio just build 8 Paradise boards for me. The all worked fine right away so i am very confident that the circuit works as advertised.
