There is a snap-in F&T that I got in many pins, some are NC for stability, that has no back screw. Same internals I presume.

Yes, passive is the way to go IMO gyrators can kill dynamics if not perfectly dimensioned.

KP is usually a film and foil polyester.

No, they are PP, film and foil. Look good.

Those were the ones we used in the OLD LA-Audio days for the Riaa filters...
