This whole offset thing is overrated. It just can happen that somebody measures the offset with a high loading resistor in place and no cartridge connected. Could be a tech of a German HifI magazine and then say : this is a miss construction, it has too high input offset. (:
Kust kidding, i have no problem to discuss even the smallest issues.

A word from the Fool,
would it, in any way, be harmfull to have a nice little
Millivoltmeter at every channels housing, to monitor
if and whats going on at the Cart ?
And how would it best be accomplished ?

Why not ? It should be a electronic meter though. A electro-mechanical divice could have too low of an impedance and load the input. But HEUREKA; the sound will be very analog then !

This one will work :3.5 DIGIT LED PANEL METER, 200 MV | AllElectronics.com
For 15,-€ a pop not even expensive. Input impedance is in the MegaOhms.
