Poorest sound i've ever had was the second
tour of Patty Smith in Düsseldorf. She was so loaded, Winehouse had been stunned. 45 minutes later it was over, no one cheered for more. |

I could not trust my ears, believe me.
Maybe the problem was the German roadies. That system was BIG, so a lot can go wrong, and it was an open stadium, no walls. That best life sound i ever heard was Sade, in the Alte Oper Frankfort. I even had 35th birthday on that day. |

Sure got Diamond life those days.
But never thought about watching her live. the Lp was a sterling "Dosenöffner" those days. Last year i saw a quite good footage of her somewhere on U-Tube or so. Got fine musicians by the time. |
