Here are pictures of how far i came. I use a mix of FKP2 10nF, RIFA PPS 1nF and the mentioned Pollin Styroflex so it is a mixed dielectric.

Sorry If I did not get here earlier

Another 60 hours week at day Job
Here is the first take for the pre regulator.

I have used 15 mm foot print for the 100 nF
and there is space for 2 sizes of 2.2 Homs resistors.
Earth plane can be made better
and Pads for the 1uf and 100 nF Caps will need to be aded depending on component choice
+ links to Choke and 100 nF X1 caps

That can be changed no problem at all

What size PCB would you suggest?

Is the board for Paradise 160 X 220?

I assume that keeping dimension (at least the one where board connect the same may be more aesthetically pleasing?

I tried to keep Caps/resistors close to Diodes. With a bit of space just in case things get warm

Are the paper Caps ok I assumed that X1 class may be needed?

I am very happy to make any changes

mad_z, thanks for the zeners.

You are welcome!
If anyone needs bzx85c zeners they are easily available at this place:
S?AWMIR Electronics - Sklep elektroniczny. Dystrybutor cz??ci i podzespo?ów elektronicznych.

Unfortunately the shopping page is non English - I may buy quantity and send in envelopes if anyone has problems sourcing anything good at their location - but I guess most of big boys like farnell/buerklin/rscomp stock good parts anyway...

Wish I had the PCB boards too at my desk:) now.
