Ones you have heard a DC coupled balanced stage it´s hard to go back. I build stages that had a more full tone then The Suesskind Rauschfrei and where even more quiet but non had that transparency, speed and dynamics. That is not always a good thing. The turntable needs to be very good and the needle perfectly adjusted and super clean. The records have to be cleaned too. Some mixes sound so strange that you think the musicians come from another planet. But when the moon is full on the weekend, its dry inside, not too warm, not too cold, the dog in the Mercedes Sossa album i like so much barks so loud and clear 20 meters back in the soundstage that you are simply "there".
I like J-Fets at the input for simplicity and i managed to make them sound dynamic if there would not be that crazy "P-Channel Problem".

The Suesskind Rauschfrei at the AAA show in Krefeld. Walter Fuchs is measuring it on an Audio Precission. Philipp Kemna in the backround.
