excuse my ignorance and lack of proper terminology - all makes sense in my head anyway.
DIY table, using the platter from an Empire 598. The bushing the spindle sits in on this unit is press fitted and I do not want to screw it up trying to get it out so I can always return the table back to it's original form. Been googling around trying to find a bushing that would work for this. The spindle itself is exactly .508 (I knew my caliper would come in handy some day). The length of it is 3". Now I admit I have no idea what I am looking for, but I do know what I want - everything I see is an open bushing, not one that would work for sitting the spindle in, fro mreading around here I am taking a ceramic bottom that it rests on? Where do you find these at ? or any other idea? The spindle is fitted into the table and not messing with it as it is about as balanced as can be.... I apologize for my ignorance ahead of time.... |
