Technics SP10 MKII/SH-10E Voltage Conversion?

I have the 110v specific power supply and am trying to determine if it can easily be converted for 220v operation. Looking at the multi-voltage and 110v schematics they are very similar...it looks to me as if the transformer primary is center tapped and in the multi-voltage type the voltage set switch simply switches the taps.

In the 110v version, one tap is used to set the voltage and the other seems to deadheaded to a dummy terminal on the supply board. What I am trying to confirm is whether simply swapping the dead-headed tap with the live tap will accomplish the voltage change. Could it be that simple?

Has anyone actually done it?

What is confusing me is that according to the schematics the transformer wiring appears very slightly different - just don't know how different.

Thanks in advance for your help, Neil.
