This thing sounds awesome! Did a little blind a/b with the wife and she liked the VSPS over the built in pre on the AT-PL120 TT every time. Using on a home built 3874 gainclone as well as a SOHA headphone amp. I bought the board assembled from http://skycoral.com/?p=78, but I did have to fix a couple of bad solder joints. Still it was only 5 more bucks assembled so I'm not complaining. I used an old external scsi drive case for the enclosure. Used and Antec 100va toroidal for the power supply.
