Garrard 301 and SME 3012 plinth template

Hi:

I want to mount a garrard 301 turntable and a 3012 SEM tone arm, can someone please help me with templates to accomplish it?

I have done this on the 401 3012 combination. On Vinyl engine you will find templates for both the TT as well as the arm.

When you don't have cut the TT hole yet it is easy you can locate from the virtual centre of the tt the 3012 with the TA template.

Alternatively your bolt holes are a reference in the same plane. When you don't want to dismount your TT you can use the spindle as your reference point.

The SME construction gives you a relative large flexibility with an average diminsion cartridge.

For several reasons (major is to level the height of the surface platter and the TA) I have a seperate armboard.
