Your DMM is better than the one I am using.

I normally ask for matched pairs from Michael Percy and Acoustic Dimension and the values they write on the caps are very near the ones I obtain with my DMM.

I also use some reference 0.3% caps and 0.1% resistors that I use as comparison when making measurements.

I believe yours are also ok.

I am looking forward for your listening impressions. :)

The audiophiles, yes I have seen it. Out of our diy world of course.

I watched that video few time. Each and every time I see it, it makes me cry - the love and passion that you people have for quality sound reproduction.

For those who don't know that video, it's highly recommended: YouTube - ‪Greek Audiophile‬‏ .

BTW, if I'm not mistaken, what all the Athens audiophiles in the movie share is a turntable and maybe also tube amplifiers.

I started as audiophile:D & you are right audiophiles are out of DIY world.:)

I have audiophiles friends & listening a DIY tube-pre asking me several times how many tubes have & always I answered only one so 1/2 tube per each channel & can't believe the sonic results because they uses tube pre with a lot of tubes & they can't understand that the DIY tube pre sounds so good only with one tube.

My apologies... I did get this deff from Wiki...

See here Audiophile - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia the second paragraph:
"Audiophile values may be applied at all stages of music reproduction: the initial audio recording, the production process, and the playback, which is usually in a home setting. High-end audio refers to expensive, high-quality, or esoteric products and practices used in the reproduction of music. Electronic gear used by audiophiles can be bought at specialist shops and websites.[4] Audiophiles can purchase special recordings made with extra attention to sound quality, some being special audiophile-oriented reissues, as well as recordings in high-resolution formats such as Super Audio CD or DVD-Audio. Many modern audiophiles also take advantage of lossless file formats such as WAV, FLAC, WMA Lossless, and Apple Lossless.".

See also here Audiophile - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary :
": a person who is enthusiastic about high-fidelity sound reproduction".
This one is the most common and most acceptable definition of audiophile. It means that an audiophile is dedicated to HIGH-FIDELITY, or high quality sound reproduction.
It's different from simple "loving sound".
