Deadly cheap here in Europe!!! I've been looking at TNT audio page, but apart from the classic Nad, Pro-ject phono box, rega mini fono or KAB, does any one know about this REKOTEK's? olso these pages: http://www.needledoctor.com/Online-S...ge=1%2C50%2C65 http://www.lpgear.com/Merchant2/merc...tegory_Code=PP http://www.kabusa.com/frameset.htm?/needbelt.htm THANKS |

Rek-O-Kut was known for its turntables, which like the Garrard 301/401 have their loyal following to this day. I have no idea whether or not this "Rek-O-Cut" pre-amp has anything to do with the original company or not. The specifications aren't at all impressive despite the hyperbole.
There are lots of simple phono stage projects here on diyaudio, why not try building one of them instead and probably for about the same money? The other device you linked to is an external add on record equalizer which is useful to record collectors who collect recordings from the pre RIAA eq era. (About 1955) It is not a pre-amp, and is of limited/no use if you do not collect old records.
