Has anyone changed a motor on the LPT? It appears to be glued in
to it's mdf carrier. I wonder also about the pulley - whether I will be able to transfer it to a new motor spindle. Michael |

Usually ac motors don't brake. It's always a matter of psu.
I had a LPT and had to remove the psu bacause it was not fixable. Loris |

Hi Loris. One of the motor windings (coils) was open circuit.
The new motor would not work until I changed the phase capacitor. |
