Default SP10 motor controller: Mark Kelly and Kaneta

Like Rich, I am sitting here waiting for more knowledgeable folks to get it done. Does anyone know how Mark Kelly's SP10 controller project is progressing? Also, has anyone seen or heard an SP10 being driven via the Kaneta controller? Is the latter just a schematic available on the net, a kit, or a finished product that one can purchase? Thanks for any info.

Hi LewM,

Here is some information that I found, I think this is from the Kaneta project:

http://homepage2.nifty.com/~mhitaste.../sp-10mk2.html

Translated: http://translate.google.com/translat...3DbW5%26sa%3DG

I hope someone can make some sense out of everything he has done!

Best regards,

Mark

Wow!
What a great webpage..too bad for the poor translation. Maybe someone can read the Japanese format, contact and invite the author to this forum and join in our endevour?
Again, great find, what a great looking turntable and controller!

Default Any developments?

Has anything developed lately or any news?
Or, has this thread downturned due to the holidays?
I really hope something comes of this, as I really would like to get my SP-10's in new plilnths and new controller/power supplies!
Anything I could do to help?

Rick

Quite the opposite! I'm waiting for 'holiday time' to get in some sp10 activity. Our "holiday time" doesn't generally start until Dec 16, or a little after.

Sorry if I am pestering, it's just that I'm quite enthused about this project.....
Hope everyone had a great Holiday, and a "Happy New Year" to all!

Hi Rich

I'm sure that Steerpike will update us presently. I don't think that what has been done up to now will be lost. Someone else can take it up if the worst comes to the worst. But I don't believe we are there yet. Let's wait and see...
