Default ABY Box

I am wondering how difficult it would be to make a passive ABY box. I have 2 amps i would like to use live with guitar and id like to know how hard it would be to build one and just how silent i can make the switch and try to get as little noise as possible.

I don't know about DIY but Morley makes an a great ABY box for about $50 US. Once you add a case, stomp switches etc. it might be competitive with DIY.

BTW, the Morley has LED's to indicate which amp is selected (A, B or Both) but the circuit is totally passive and works just fine without battery.
