Hi Camshaft

I have been transferring old records to cd for a while and have found that ( now dont laugh !!! ) using a record vacuum cleaner is really the best way to go.

I purchased a VPI Instruments vacuum cleaner and use
a program called Groove Mechanic to get rid of the clicks and pops.

Hope that helps.

Also any worn stylus will damage a record !!!!!!!!!!!!
And really dirty ones will prematurely wear down a stylus.
