I buy Connoisseur BD2 without cartridge and I want to put some cartridge... Grado, Audio Technica etc.. and by new motor (old work) , any expirence?

none of them came with an arm. What arm do you have (I believe if it has a Sugden arm than it was a BD1)...
planet10, who hangs out mostly on the fullrange forum may have an idea, because he's older than stone....but I also think he sold these when they may have been new or "newly used". If the motor works, keep it....

Hi,
The standard arm with the BD2 was the SAU2. BD1 = BD2 without arm. The SAU2 is pretty decent, I quite liked it and it works well with modest compliance cartridges, Audio Technica AT110E or AT95E a good choice. (Grado's should also work well, if you like the Grado presentation.) |
