I have a used LP12 with Valhalla. The Valhalla may be the first version as when I compared with the schematic, there is no R40 and D3 mounted in the PCB.
Can anyone please tell me the value of R40 and type of D3 as I want to reinstall them? I would also like to know the use of R40 & D3. Thanks in advance. |

If you want to make your Linn LP12 power supply better, I would suggest you have a look into the Hercules power supply. You can go to vinylparadise.com and have a look of it.
I changed to Hercules and I have no regret. It can provide 33 and 45 rpm by pressing the button and it sounds much better. |
