I am using a Linn LP12 turntable, Ittok LV II tonearm, Grado Statement cartridge retipped by VDH and ASR Basis phono preamp. So far, I am using the stock DIN to RCA cable that came with the LP12 and I am pretty sure that I could improve the sound quality by changing to use a better phono cable.
Upon going through the web, I noticed that the Silver Breeze is very much preferred by a number of audiophile and is above XLO Signature phono cable. However, it seems this 1999 model has never been changed up to this moment while XLO has changed to S2 in 2003 (I presume so). Is there anyone who has tried both of them and can give me a clue on which should be a better cable? Thank you. |
