Bass and OP devices and transformers

It seems to me that we keep reading about the huge bass end capability of an amplifier when using many parallel power transistors and beefy power transformers and power supply capacitors.

Would it be possible to identify a turning point where the improvement stops going up significantly say after .......

1. Four pairs of 10 A power devices per channel
2. A power transformer which is three times the rated watts as the rms power of the amp into 8 ohms.
3. 30,000uF capacitors x2 ( 30,000 uF on each rail).
4. Heat sinks large enough to reduce temperature cycling to a minimum --- max temp of 50 or 55 deg C at continuous full output.

Any ideas?

Low value caps will not have any significant effect on the bass.

What it really gets down to is the ability to source/sink the required current for a given woofer system without overloading or choking, low distortion, and low source impedance with respect to the impedance curve of the woofer system. All else is gas. Once you can do these things, using bigger things, more things, more fashionable things, whatever, will not get you anything better in an audible sense.
