Teac C-3X cassette - belt change-service manual partial?
Hi folks,
-event: I picked up a Teac C-3X this weekend, it played for about 1/2 an hour before winding up it's large belt, flywheel? I unwound it but it's too stretched to use now. -question: Before I order the manuals does anyone have 1 or 2 pages of the manual that cover belt replacement that they could send? -details: I've found TEAC/TASCAM Parts and Services Canada and I'm in process of ordering belts, of course if someone here has a bag 'o' belts for the C-3X kicking around, let me know. In the 1/2 hour that it was working it sounded pretty good for a near 30 year old machine, high end is rolled off I guess, could be the tapes. Also, I'm looking forward to trying out the high speed recording mode on this model. |
