I've just been offered a non-working one of these for free. Any thought's what it's like or where to find information on it? Apparently got manual for it, so hopefully can be got working.
Given I can buy belts for it online, it must be a belt drive of some sort, but not much of a clue otherwise (I haven't seen it yet). |

Hi Richard,
It's a belt, sticky bearing or lubrication in the motor. Make sure the bearings are not worn (check side play) and that the shafts turn freely with no vibration. The thrust bearing for the platter may be worn, check it carefully. -Chris

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately someone else beat me to it, so I'm keeping looking for now.
