i go along with the idea of revamping the arm....
can be done in stages ... so spreading the expence counterweight.... the most elegent and best sounding is the michell tecnoweight... http://www.michell-engineering.co.uk...ecnoweight.jpg there are heaps of rewiring options... but why not buy some wire and do it youself... silver litz will bring some sparkle to the thorens... if you wanna see how far you can go with the humble 250: http://www.william-reed.net/audio/rega1.html |
