how build usb phono pre riaa

hi! i'm writing from italy. the articles explain the project about a a/d converter via riaa. the device has two input: one for the cartridge and another for the line , i.e. a cd or other. this device transfer the digital signal via a usb interface into the pc. also it convert the digital signal FROM pc to the analogic output. i know the projects of "nuova elettronica". they are good project but NOT audiophile oriented. maybe this works better than a pc soundcard. the article don't make a word about the jitter problem.the price is 63 euro, excluded post charge. best regards from luigi. |
