Default Vinyl accesories and their effectiveness - let's discuss!

Hi guys! Lets discuss in this topic whic additioanl devices, we - vinyl junkies use?
As for me - I've tried variety of record mats and decided that sorbogel are good choices, but I enjoy my diy made heavy glass mat.
Also I've tried variety of clamps - from cheap project clams to wooden Sota (arghh, very expensive).
No I'm using this: Super Bronze clamp
This is the most significan and same inexpesive upgrade for my vinyl system since upgrade to dynavector te-caitora mc cartridge.

Any suggestions from other crazy men? What other accesories do You use?

I just bought a new Discwasher to replace the veteran. It is not the same- the plush doesn't have a pronounced "grain," so it's harder to clean off. It sucks, and not in a good way like a record cleaning machine.

Other brush recommendations are welcome.

This is the only brush that's ever worked well for me.

Seriously, though, I have friends who like these:

Very interesting! I'm delighted to see someone doing a bit of homebrewing. There are some mistakes in his proportions, I think, but it's unlikely that (within reason) the exact proportions are all that critical. I still shake my head in wonder at what the US patent system will pass...

The current D4+ does indeed smell like isopropyl, and their instructions reflect that- they recommend much more than the old D3 fluid because of the faster evaporation rate.

I guess it would be safe to say that most record cleaning solutions are >95% distilled water and probably closer to 99%, and therefore waaay overpriced. I only need something that has an additive for lowering the surface tension of the water so it doesn't get flung from my KMAL as the platter rotates. I am currently using Record Research cleaner which appears to be nothing more than $80/gal de-ionized water with a small bit of something that seems to have raised the surface tension. I may add a little isopropyl alcohol to make it easier to use.

John

P.S. I didn't buy the RR fluid, it was a gift from a friend of mine. I draw too small a salary to actually purchase audiophile tweaks.

I clean the records with the Tergitol solution described here: http://www.loc.gov/preserv/care/record.html using a record cleaning machine.
I do play them wet with the same solution and the difference between wet and dry is noticeable in detail.
I know there are hundred of pages out there with pro and cons of wet playing, wet is best for me.
After playing I rinse them again with de-ionized water.

A drop or two of photoflow.

I'm under the impression that Photoflo leaves a residue upon evaporation. Whether this is a problem or not, I don't know.
