Hi All,
Does anyone have any info about this tonearm? How is Bakelite as a material for an arm tube? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...3154870&rd=1,1 Thanks IK |

It is not suitable for current cartridges. VTF probably starts from 10g and certainly no antiskate. But great value for $6

thanks analog_sa - I'll try to remember it on moonless nights...
Actualy- there is a "pocket" in back where you can fill it with lead, sand or whatever and balance the arm to any weight. it also has a very nice looking unipivot bearing...I could add antiskate weight or magnet I would like to know its effective mass and length if any one knows. cheers Ik |

Probably an ACOS.
Bakelite has a very pleasing tonal quality. For tracking a piezo cart at 5 grams it would be alright, but not high fidelity. Mark |
