I have seen that alot of you are using Scheu part sfor your turntables.
I have also had them recommended to me. I have been searching the internet and cannot find where to get them, or how much they cost. Can anyone help me out? Sorry if this is a newbie question but I am going to bid on some rega parts if the Scheu is out of my price ballpark. Thanks - Evan

The pricelist is in German. Unfortunately I only speak English, so I can't tell what price is for what..
I was able to find the US distributor under the links, but no price list there. Ill email them and ask. Can someone give me a ballpark price? I have a feeling these parts are out of my price range but I wanted to make sure before I pull the trigger on some rega parts today on ebay. Thanks guys - Evan I am curious about the platter/bearing/subplatter and motor.

Hudson Audio.
Tom is a really great guy and loves to talk audio. He's a huge Scheu fan above and beyond being their distributor. He's also developed his own battery power pack for the Scheu motor that supposedly makes a big improvement. BTW, I own a Scheu Premier mkII w/ the high-mass 80mm platter and their top of the line Tacco tonearm. I went to a dealer's house a few weeks ago to audition phono preamps. He was also a dealer for Avid, SOTA, Origin Live, Nottingham, Brinkman, Transrotor, and Thorens. Anyway, he asked about the rest of my vinyl system to see if my phono preamp was the weakest link. As soon as I said Scheu w/ thick platter he aid something to the effect that there was no use talking about TT's, he'd had a friend's in his system and that I would have to pay a lot more to sense a worthwhile improvement. I would love to upgrade to their new Das Laufwerk, but that is a huge price jump for a small improvement. Thank you so much. Ill look into it.
I ended up passing on the rega parts, I don't need them immediately so it gives me time to do more research. Evan
