Hi,
I've got a project debut turntable which i connect to my amp using a project phono box (the mark 1 version). I got the phono box off ebay, but its been working fine up until today (well in fact it was even working this morning). Anyway i unplugged it all because i was wiring in some new speakers then plugged it all back in and suddenly the preamp doesnt produce any sound! Its not the amp or speakers etc, because they work perfectly with other sources like my cd player. I dont get how it can just suddenly stop working like this! does anyone have any advice or reasoning behind why it should stop working like this? ive already tested the leads and power adapter. Any help would be much appreciated, im tearing my hair out! thanks! |

Clearly it's something common to both channels. Check supply voltages and any muting relay or other switching common to the two channels. Are heaters lighting up?
