Jumping in on the band wagon here I know but can I please have a copy as well. I have a Systemdeck I picked up that has burnt out its power supply. Is the motor supposed to be 110V? It sort of looks like a mod.

Armageddon's don't work in North America unless you own a pre-Valhalla LP-12. The AC in North America is 60Hz. All Valhalla and later LP-12 's run on 50Hz.

but didn't realize this was a Linn specific request for information.

Obviously as AC is 60Hz here, then the 'geddon would output 60 Hz.

Wonder if a new pulley would create a suitable setup, unless the Valhalla uses a PLL?

Sorry nanook, your right there. I don't think it started that way but all subsequent posts have been regarding Linn power supplies. The pulley is press fitted on the LP-12 motor. It's hard to get it off and on without the proper tools without risk of damage to the motor.

If you are requiring a power supply for a different table that was using standard out of the wall AC power then the Armageddon ps is definitely a suitable option. The Armageddon uses a pretty large toroid transformer for isolation, something like 500VA. Those don't come cheap. Not sure how small you could get away with and still get the same effect.
