Hehehe, j7
Let it be the "Tiefenbrun" I'm sure this will be one explosive piece of kit. @nanook How much do you charge for the 17 1/2"? I need one of these for whacking geckos off my walls bulgin |

well neither is an Altman, but who cares.
j7: as long as I want (practically). I'm thinking a 26" would probably be the limit. bulgin: no gecko whacking here.... one day I may actually get serious and build a serious arm... naw, me thinks I'll continue to have fun. But I have had a few inquiries. I can say that the copper coloured aluminum one is in the same league as my SME 309 (improved magnesium), if I actually tried good tonearm cable it would be quite a bit better than it is. Kits could be had. please send a cashier's cheque to me..... $10k CAD (or about $9450 USD). Seriously, knowing what I know now, I most likely will never buy another tonearm again--for same price I paid for the SME I could build something in the neighbourhood of 100 of my own, depending on the cost of parts ---I scabbed pretty much everything on the arm
