A friend of mine has a nice looking turntable with a "Remey Thorens" logo on it (if I remember the spelling correctly) and is offering it to me.
I have never heard of such a make. Does anyone know anything about these? It's a strange beast as there is no speed change control. You have to lift off the platter and move the belt manually ! I'll try ang get a photo later.
