What was yamaha thinking when they decided to use a plastic gear around the spindle of their direct drive turntables to push the cam through its cycle? Does anyone know where to get a new one of these gears? Ours is cracked but the machine is otherwise excellent. The cam goes through its motions fine; the thing just fatigued or a was damaged by a rugrat. Thank you.
