I have a denon DP51 that, though not my main table, I still have quite an attachment to. Reently, through the fault of electro-static discharge I'd bet, the motor stopped spinning the platter. Everything else works fine, the arm moves to the drop zone and lowers, and if I spin the platter, the sensor detects when it's at speed, but the motor won't spin it.
Can anyone help me with this? I called a repair shop and they were less than hopeful that they could find parts so I'm turning here to see if there's help to be had in audio-land...eh? A schematic, some spare parts, or even a working table would be great. |
