I own a Meridian 101 with a MM phono input and I´m using it with a benz Ace Mid output (0.8mv).
I recently purchased a MC module but I did not try it because I am afrais it can be too sensitive fot this cart. Please advise about this possible change. Regards

hi there,
i used to own one of these units and i had a couple of different input modules. there was as i recall 2 different MC modules from the factory. as i recall the spec is printed on the top. they could be taloired to suit different cartridges, input impeadance/ capacitance loading and gain. do you have the spec of the cartridge? might be worthwile giving meridian a call or email to check this out. however i would try it and see, making sure the volume is turned very low to start with. if the gain is about right there will be a 'nice' spread of ajustment with volume control. regards bob
