pietjer,
Can your CCS circuit be powered off of a 12v wallwort, or is a "cleaner" source recommended? |

Staggerlee,
The CCS is giving a very high rejection of mains related pollution, so a standard stabilized (!) 12V mains adapter is okay. The voltage of the power supply is not very critical. Every voltage between lets say 8V and 20V is okay. Peter |

If used on a balanced headphone amp,is the series opto on "hot" and the shunt to "cold" then?

Two series in hot & cold then after these two shunts from hot & cold to ground. For pseudo balanced you could try having the same two series resistors but only one shunt - between hot & cold. |

If you use the CCS cct then you can put the 4 opto couplers in series.
should be ok I think 12 volts will still be enough but 15 volts would also work |

Knowing that some of you are building (or planning to build) the CCS version of the Lightspeed, I am very interested to hear from your results.
Please share your findings and thoughts. Peter |
