I have recently run into a problem I got a pro amplifier that has some age to it (around the 60's -70's) it only has XLR input on it. My preamp only has composite jacks and I was wondering if it were possible to get the amp working without having to use opamps to transfer it to XLR.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
look up Rane notes for interconnects and grounding.

Shows how to wire up an adaptor for XLR to RCA and RCA to XLR
i.e. unbalanced to balanced interconnects.
