I'm looking to drive a newly built Aleph J with miniDSP 4x10HD.

I'm not sure which jumper settings are optimal for gain within the miniDSP?

"Maximum Output signal @ 0dBFS
RCA connector: 2Vrms or 0.9Vrms depending on output DIP switch position Phoenix Terminal block: 4Vrms (+14 dBu) with an unbalanced signal, 8Vrms balanced with a signal (20dBu)"

The Aleph J is listed as:

"Gain 19.6db
Input for 25 watts output 1.5 volts"

Any help or advice is very welcome, thanks! :)

gain = 19.6dB tells you the gain is 9.55times
Multiply 1.5Vac at the input by the gain of 9.55 and you get 14.3Vac at the output.
14.3Vac into 8ohms is equivalent to 25.5W

all the data you have supplied appears to be compatible and you are looking for a Maximum input to just reach clipping into 8ohms of 1.5Vac

if you put in less than 1.5Vac, then the signal won't get voltage clipped.
If you put in more than 1.5Vac, then you will get voltage clipping.
