I'm currently planning a new phono pre. MC as Mm. It should be with tube.
So totally free I'm looking around where a great musical and both quiete design is around. No problem to use a transformation for MC step up.
I'm wondering about the DIY Audio article "his-masters-noise-thoroughly-modern-tube-phono-preamp". I can't find a concrete comparison to other phono pre's or at least a subjective listening review which goes into some details.
I could say maybe it isn't great?... otherwise many review would be around?!
So anyone who compared it to other DIY stuff or purchased pre's?
If possible let me know! I searched here and by Google without great success.
