Hello all! I am very new to this forum, but I have been looking into re using a bunch of old speakers I have salvaged from old electronics, and was wondering if I could have some help on where to go to get an audio amplifier for them. I am interested in making portable speaker systems just for the fun of re using these and to give to friends asking for them :)

I currently have:

2 x 5ohms 6W Speakers

2 x 8ohms 10W speakers

1 x 8ohms 0.5W speaker

1 x 8ohms 3W speaker

I would like to have an amplifier for each type of speaker I listed so that I can get the most out of these speakers :)

thanks for any help!

design for 5ohms loading and the one amplifier design will successfully drive any of those 5 or 8ohms speakers.

But two speakers in parallel is equivalent to halving their impedance.

Two 8ohms in parallel becomes a 4ohms load. You would need to design for this lower load.
